What Does The Bible Say About Trusting God Completely Right Now?
Are you trusting God completely? What Does the Bible Say About Trusting God? Scriptures tell us that God meets the needs of his Children so WHY do we find ourselves having a difficult time learning how to trust in God in times such as this?
As born-again followers of Jesus Christ, it’s imperative to seek, trust, and believe the scriptures (our guideline) when it comes to what does the Bible say about trusting God in difficult times.
MAKE SURE TO PIN FOR LATER
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith. Matthew 6:30
What Does the Bible Say About Trusting God: Old Testament Examples
God met the needs of the Israelites in the wilderness when it seemed hopeless for them. BUT GOD, {I LOVE THOSE TWO WORDS} had manna rain down from Heaven for them to eat.
Israel is God’s chosen people and God always met their needs but they would doubt God and his goodness towards them over and over again!
The sad thing is…..You and I aren’t any different when it comes to tolerating trusting God in difficult times, are we? I can ONLY answer for myself of course but if I’m being totally honest I doubt God moving in areas of my life at times.
If things aren’t moving as fast as I’d like for them to be, I find myself seeking ways to take care of it myself instead of trusting what the Bible says about trusting God to handle it.
I mean “Angie” does such a great job Ya know…Can you say PRIDE? OUCH!
How Did I Fail To Trust God?
I don’t know about you, but when “I” try to get things moving along, “I” usually end up making it worse instead of easier in numerous ways.
Two of the most common and hardest at times are knowing God will handle your finances and relationships. Are you a “fix it” and “get it done” kinda personality like me, or am I alone?
But God is full of grace towards His children even when you lack the faith to trust what does the bible say about trusting God?
Do you know where you would be if it weren’t for God’s grace and sovereignty? Can you imagine God sitting on his majestic throne in Heaven looking down and saying “My beloved daughter and child,” “O Ye of little faith, trust me, I GOT THIS!”
Does that stop you in your tracks? There is NOTHING that God can NOT fulfill but try telling that to our human stubborn wretched hearts sometimes, right?
I LOVE how God uses different situations and people to get your attention off “your” circumstances and to look towards someone else who is going through much harder issues.
I say this ALL the time if you look around you can ALWAYS find someone who has it much worse than you do.

Two True Stories on Trusting God in Difficult Times
If you aren’t aware of this I work at an Oncology Office and I see this scenario played out every single day. God uses these AMAZING people to open my eyes and keep me grounded. Thankful to God for keeping me where he wants me to be!
1. bad battery and A good samaritan
The last few weeks for me have been rather challenging. Yet, when I start feeling the “Sorry for Angie blues” here comes a patient who I see isn’t doing well but they have a BIG OLE’ SMILE on their face testifying how good God is to them.
I say thank you God you knew I needed that reminder. God’s gentle reminders show up exactly when you and I need them the most, doesn’t He? I want to share a couple of short stories with you.
I knew this individual was having financial issues. They shared how they were afraid their vehicle wasn’t going to be reliable and they’d be left stranded somewhere.
Needless to say, this ended up happening to them. But God worked it out for them in the best way possible. Guess where the vehicle broke down at? It was in the parking lot of an auto parts store.
This individual went inside to get assistance and it ended up being a bad battery. The clerk went in to get another battery and proceeded to put it in the vehicle for them and cranked it to make sure that fixed the issue.
When this individual went to pay for their battery a “Good Samaritan” had already taken care of the bill. As I said they were having terrible money issues and tears of gratitude poured down their face.
This person is undergoing chemotherapy treatments, for the parts store employees and customers. This person gave their testimony and shared how good their God has been to them.
I can tell you there wasn’t a dry eye in that store or my lab bay! I do not doubt that lives were changed that day!

2. Devastating Loss VS Gratefulness
Again, another individual was looking even more rough than usual so I asked them, “Are you doing Ok?” They broke down in tears, and I lost it. Here it is the holidays approaching you’re a cancer patient and receiving chemotherapy.
If that isn’t hard enough. This individual home caught on fire and ended up being a total loss! They were left with absolutely NOTHING!
No clothes, No shoes, NOTHING!! My heart broke for them! Can you see how this is going to play out? But God. They were grateful to God for making it out alive.
They were still able to say God is still good! God’s got this! We’re gonna be fine! Everything is taken care of! Forgive ME, God!!
See my point Friends on Trusting God in Difficult Times?
Yes, your problems may seem like they’re too BIG for you but they are NOT too BIG for OUR GOD! God only wants you to realize He has a plan and He’s working ALL things out for YOUR good, and His glory! God just wants you to trust him…He’s Got This!
God’s truth is more precious than the air you breathe. God’s word teaches you to recognize that faith may be something you can not necessarily see, hear, feel, taste, or touch. It is stepping out of our comfort zones and trusting God regardless of how we feel emotionally.
“Faith by its very nature must be tested and tried. And the real trial of faith is not that we find it difficult to trust God, but that God’s character must be proven trustworthy in our own minds.”
Oswald Chambers
You may find yourself thinking, “Is this true? I don’t see anything in it. I don’t hear God’s voice. I don’t feel His presence.” We ALL have days like this when doubt creeps its way in.
The fact of the matter is this…you must keep walking, seeking, trusting, believing, and yearning. As long as you continue to do this you will NOT be disappointed.
