Trust me, I have a big ole finger pointing at myself with that statement as well. Overcoming the spirit of fear is hard. However, it’s an absolute MUST to trust God’s word as truth. Read and pray over them until you gain peace.

In all honesty, it’s not a matter of “IF” we will encounter fear but “WHEN” we encounter it. Even the disciples faced fear. What did they do? They turned to Jesus!

When fear comes, remember that God is always with you. The key point to keep in mind is that God has told you that he will never leave you nor forsake you.

2. Trust the Holy Spirit
When you’re afraid, you can trust the Holy Spirit’s protection completely. To put it another way, God is for you, so what can man do? Memorize the following scripture.

Remember, you shouldn’t be weak but courageous when trusting God. When you are afraid, remember the assurance of knowing you are God’s chosen child.
