How Do You Let Them See Jesus In You?
Speaking for myself I know that I don’t even come close to showing the humility of Jesus. Do you feel the same way?
If Jesus were to return at this very moment would you be ashamed of what you are doing currently at this very moment? If your answer is Yes I suggest you choose to do things differently.
Do Others See Jesus In You?
Look at it like this. If it’s something you wouldn’t want God to see you doing then it’s best to set it aside. Don’t worry, I’m guilty too. None of us are perfect.
That being said, however, we are children of God and he uses you as his instrument to share the gospel with others. Are you setting a good example?
Set A Good Example
You truly need to pray and ask God for his knowledge and wisdom when it comes to living out your faith before others. Most often you are the ONLY Bible they may see.
Let’s make it a PRIORITY to pray…Jesus let them see you in me! Help me to be more like YOU and less like ME!
Lord, Let them See Jesus in me Bible Verses
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5: 14-16
Let Others See Jesus In You
When you profess to the world “I AM A CHRISTIAN,” the Christian life is a changed life.
You can NOT profess to be a born-again believer and live the same as you did before Salvation!
Becoming a disciple of Christ means turning from your sin and turning toward God.
It is NOT saying, to God “I Repent, Forgive Me” and then going back to the same lifestyle. If you want to live out the phrase “Let Them See Jesus in Me,” you got to take steps to model Jesus’ character. So, let others see Jesus in you.
You can not straddle the fence with one foot in Christianity and one foot out in the world. Now I am by no means stating that since you are now saved by faith you will live a spotless life.
Let them see you in me meaning
The meaning behind, Jesus let them see you in me is simple and should be straightforward. It’s wanting others to see Jesus in and through us. It’s living in a way of wanting to SinLESS NOT being Sinless! There’s a huge difference!
As humans, it’s not possible in your Christian walk to be spotless. This is why you need Jesus. He’s your perfect spotless lamb who took your place paying your way to be right before Almighty God!

Let Others See Jesus in You is Understanding Sanctification
The Christian journey is a process of taking off the old life and replacing it with your new life found in Christ.
If your heart has truly been changed you’ll want to change how you are living your life after Salvation. You’ll want to let others see Jesus in you and how he’s transformed your life.
God Changes Your Life Entirely At The Moment Of Your Salvation
You will want to do things that are pleasing to God and share His goodness with ALL you come in contact with and be more conformed to Jesus and less conformed to the world.
I’ve listed some things I thought would be helpful in your interactions. Not just with those who don’t know Christ as their personal Savior but with other born-again followers of God also.
I am NOT just writing meaningless words however it’s something you need to be practicing daily.
This is NOT just for you…it’s for me too.
I know without a doubt in my mind that I fall short but I MUST strive to do better!

4 Simple Ways to Let Them See Jesus in You
1. The Words you Speak And Your Actions
Humility and Meekness
I have always been taught this: “If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all.” You may not be aware, but those around you are watching what you say. Keep it in the forefront of your mind…Jesus let them see you in me.
Sadly, those around you can hear the words that proceed out of our mouths, whether they be good or bad. More often than not unbelievers will judge you more harshly since you claim Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.
If you conform to this world and like those around you (non-believers) trying to lead to Jesus they will assume you are no different than they are so why should they come over to King Jesus?
You must be mindful of the words you use, people will notice that and possibly ask you “HOW” are you different?
Words are powerful and they can be used to build up but they can also be used to tear others down.
Let’s stay reminded of the following…Are our words and actions a reflection of Christ?
2. Does Your Entertainment Edify Jesus?
Heed the Conviction from the Holy Spirit
- Where do you go?
- What do you watch?
- What kind of music do you listen to?
- Would you go to the same places, watch the same things, or listen to the same music if Jesus were sitting next to you? Would you find yourself being embarrassed?
You Can Not Serve God And Man Bible Verse
No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Matthew 6:24
3. Your Interactions On Social Media
Other people read what you post on social media. Non-believers watch more closely than those who say they are Christians. Are your posts, comments, and photos edifying what you say you believe in?
Once something goes online, it can’t be taken back. You must be careful to represent your Savior in the best way.

Lord Let them See You in me Bible Verse
Whoever guards his mouth and tongue, keeps his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23
4. Be Mindful of How You Treat Others
Are you modeling Christ to let others see Jesus in You?
Are You…
- Reaching out to help people in their time of need?
- Encouraging or criticizing them?
- Being patient and kind?
- Showing genuine Love?
- Giving others the benefit of the doubt or do you believe something because someone else takes it as truth?
If you hear gossip about an individual, do you distance yourself from it or stay and listen? What does the bible say about gossip? Treat others the same way you want them to treat you and lend a helping hand when they need it.
But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. James 3:8
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. Ephesians 4:29
But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. James 3:8
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. Ephesians 4:2
And we all, with unveiled faces, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:1
That, however, is not the way of life you learned. Ephesians 4:20
When you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. Ephesians 4:21
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires. Ephesians 4:22
To be made new in the attitude of your minds. Ephesians 4:23
And to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:24
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2
And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. Luke 6:31
Your Turn
Can I challenge you to be the best witness you can be for Jesus Christ today? I will say it again that you may be the ONLY witness that some people will see so show them a good representation. Pray specifically to let them see Jesus in and through you and watch God move in mighty ways.
Again, if you live your lives in a manner that doesn’t reflect what you claim to be (born-again children of God) those you are trying to witness will see no reason to give their lives to Jesus Christ. People will just say that you do NOT live any differently from the way they do.
