Rhl Statement of faith

Hello Friend! Let’s discuss the common question “What does salvation mean?” What is salvation all about? If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, first and foremost, I want you to know that he loves you.

Jesus longs for you to open your heart to him. In all honesty, he loves you more than anyone has or will on this earth.

If you’re reading this please know you are not here by accident. You have probably been questioning, “What is salvation all about?”

God has a plan for all things! His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways. He knew you before you were even a twinkle in your Mommy and Daddy’s eyes.

What Does Salvation Mean?

Friend, nothing this world offers can compare with all that is ours in Christ when we find salvation. Forgiveness. Justification. Adoption. Eternal life.

The Gospel offers purpose and meaning. Materialism and sensual pleasure are not the answer nor do they last.

The crowning glory of salvation is promised when we enter into the presence of the King in Heaven. The “good news” of the gospel is we have a home in heaven reserved for us.

HOW IS THE WORLD’S VIEW OF SALVATION DISTORTED?

Unfortunately, our world today has distorted the meaning of salvation, stating that’s political, social, and economic liberation in this life.

Sadly, by worldly standards, people feel Christians should be concerned about injustice and do what’s possible to promote justice for everyone. The world needs to hear about salvation from sin.

That being said, complete freedom from social injustice will come only when Jesus Christ returns to establish His Kingdom.

Biblical salvation gets to the root of our problem…SIN. Only Christ can change the human heart and replace greed and hate with compassion and love

WHAT DOES SALVATION MEAN FOR YOU?

Everything in your life has led you on this particular path. Do you realize the restless feeling you’re experiencing, that will not let go is? Let me tell you what it is because I was once in your shoes.

Friend, when God sends the conviction of the Holy Spirit you will not find the rest you’re seeking for your soul until you surrender your life to God.

Now Satan is the deceiver he will do everything in his power to convince you this statement is not the truth. But Friend, that’s just lies of the devil!

I want you to know that absolutely nothing you have ever done or will ever do will ever make God stop loving you. I Promise!

Jesus Christ loves you so much, that He died on a Roman rugged Cross, just for you. I know the question that’s forming in your mind right now…

Angie, “Why would Jesus offer me Salvation?” “A Sinner?”

YOU MUST UNDERSTAND GOD’S PERFECT PLAN OF SALVATION.

You must understand it took a spotless lamb, to meet that need. God took his only begotten Son, as a ransom for you and I, so we may be reconciled with him, through the bloodshed from Jesus Christ on Calvary, to open the gates of Heaven for you and I.

What salvation means for you my precious friend, is an ultimate sacrifice had to be paid to satisfy the wrath of God. Thanks to Jesus’ finished work on the cross you can receive salvation. Please put your hope in Christ for eternal salvation.

Why? You have eternity at stake and that’s forever. I wouldn’t be doing my part when it comes to the importance of sharing the gospel with you if I didn’t give these warnings.

JESUS NEEDS A COMMITMENT FROM YOU

10 IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER

  1. Recognize that you are a sinner.
  2. Understand that your sin demands payment.
  3. Confess your sin to God.
  4. Receive His gift of forgiveness.
  5. Accept God’s forgiveness as He freely gave it to you..
  6. Surrender your life to Him and choose to follow Him from this day forward.
  7. Make a public declaration of faith.
  8. Share your transformation testimony.
  9. Be baptized by submersion. The water does not save you. It’s your representation of your inward transformation.
  10. It’s important to surround yourself with people that will uplift and help hold you accountable.

Do you know Jesus is waiting for a response for you to draw near to him? May I lead you through a sinner’s prayer? Let’s Pray right now wherever you are at this moment. You do not have to be in a church building. Just you and God are ALL you need.

I make You my Lord and Savior. From this point forward, I want to live my life for You. Thank You for saving me. I want to receive the precious gift of salvation, and your forgiveness right now! FIND A LOCAL CHURCH

I encourage you to get connected with a Bible-based, Holy Spirit-filled Church. We aren’t made to do our Christian walk alone.

You need other followers of Jesus Christ, to come alongside you. To help you stay accountable, and point you in the right direction.

Being alone makes us an easy target for Satan. God wants us to be in a community with Christ-minded born-again believers

WHAT IS RESOUNDING HIS LOVE STATEMENT OF FAITH?

My husband and I go to a nondenominational Church. That said, I was brought up in the Pentecostal faith.

THE TRINITY

GOD THE FATHER

God the Father is the maker of heaven and earth. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. God’s nature is love.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Matthew 6:9

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” Romans 8:14-15

Yet for us, there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist. 1 Corinthians 8:6

Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. 1 Corinthians 15:24

GOD THE SON

Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He was born of the virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit, lived a sinless life, and gave himself as a sacrifice, once and for all, for those who believe. He died and rose again three days later.

He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for the saints. Through Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, He made atonement for sins and eternal life in heaven possible.

JESUS CALLS THE FIRST DISCIPLES

“And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.” The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples. John 1:34-35

THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US

In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. John 1:1-2

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known. John 1:18

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

And are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:24

Whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness because, in his divine forbearance, he had passed over former sins. Romans 3:25

It was to show his righteousness at the present time so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:26

Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Romans 8:34

GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the Divine Person of the Trinity who convicts the world of sin; brings life to those who are spiritually dead; baptizes all believers with power, and indwells them permanently.

The Holy Spirit seals believers in Christ until the day of redemption, gives gifts to individuals in the Body of Christ, and aids in the cultivation of the fruits of the Spirit.

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going. John 8:14

Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me. In your Law, it is written that the testimony of two people is true. John 8:16-17

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. John 16:7

And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: John 16:8

Concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; John 16:9

Concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer; John 16:10

Concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. John 16:11

To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 1 Corinthians 12:7

For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another, the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:8

To another faith by the same Spirit, to another gift of healing by the one Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:9

To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:10

All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. 1 Corinthians 12:11

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18

THE BIBLE

All Scripture is God-breathed and inspired by God. The entire Bible, in its original form, is the inerrant Word of God, without error or contradiction.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16

For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:21

And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. Luke 24:27

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life, and it is they that bear witness about me. John 5:39

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4

GOD CREATED MAN

Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin. Every man born since the fall in the Garden of Eden has been born with a dead spirit that can only be regenerated by believing in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Genesis 1:26

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

THE DEVIL…SATAN…LUCIFER

Satan is the deceiver who enticed man to sin. He comes to kill, steal, and destroy and is destined to eternal punishment. Genesis 3

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10

In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Revelation 20:10

GIFT OF SALVATION

Salvation is a gift of God’s grace and cannot be obtained through works. It is freely given to those who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

All who confess to Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead will be saved. Salvation is by faith alone, through grace alone, in Jesus Christ alone.

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12

Then he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Acts 16:30

And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31

And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. Acts 16:32

And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds, and he was baptized at once, he and all his family. Acts 16:33

In Him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. Ephesians 1:7

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

THE GREAT COMMISSION

Jesus commissioned the church (all Christians) to go into the world and teach all nations what salvation means to them, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God works through Christians as instruments of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

THE FINAL JUDGEMENT: WHAT DOES SALVATION MEAN FOR YOU ON A PERSONAL LEVEL?

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.

Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.

I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’

Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?

And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?

And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,

I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’

Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’

Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’

And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Matthew 25:31-46

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Matthew 28:18

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20
