4 Super Simple Ways for Others to See Jesus in You!

How Do We Let Them See Jesus in Me and You

Speaking of myself I know that I don’t even come close to showing the humility of Jesus. Do you feel the same way?

If Jesus were to return at this very moment would you be ashamed of what you are doing currently at this very moment?

If your answer is Yes I suggest you make the choice to do things differently.

Do others see Jesus in You?

I look at it like this. If it’s something you wouldn’t want God to see you doing then it’s best to set it aside. I know for a fact that I am guilty.

That being said, however, we are children of God and he uses us as his instrument to share the gospel with others. Are you setting a good example?

Be a Good example to let others see Jesus in You

We truly need to pray and ask God for his knowledge and wisdom when it comes to living out our faith before others. Most often we are the ONLY Bible they see.

Let’s make it a PRIORITY to pray…Jesus let them see you in me! Help me to be more like YOU and less like ME!

Lord Let them See You in me Bible Verse:

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16

Let Others See Jesus in You

Friends if we profess to the world “I AM A CHRISTIAN,” the Christian life is a changed life.

You can NOT profess to be a born again believer and live the same as you did before Salvation!

Becoming a disciple of Christ means turning from your sin and turning towards God.

It is NOT saying, God “I Repent, Forgive Me” and then go back to the same lifestyle. If we want to live out the phrase “Let Them See Jesus in Me,” we have got to take steps to model Jesus’ character. So, let others see Jesus in you.

We can not straddle the fence with one foot in Christianity and one foot out in the world. Now I am by no means stating that since you are now saved by faith you will live a spotless life.

Let them see you in me meaning

The meaning behind, Jesus let them see you in me is simple and should be straightforward. It’s wanting others to Jesus…NOT You and I! It’s living in a way of wanting to SinLESS NOT being Sinless! There’s a huge difference!

As humans, it’s not possible in our Christian walk to be spotless. This is why we need Jesus. He’s our perfect spotless lamb who took our place paying our way to be right before Almighty God!

Our Christian journey is a process of taking off the old life and replacing it with our new life found in Christ.

If your heart has truly been changed you’ll want to change how you are living your life after Salvation.

You’ll want to let others see Jesus in you and how he’s transformed your life.

You will want to do things that are pleasing to God and share His goodness to ALL you come in contact with and be more conformed to Jesus and less conformed to the world.

This is NOT just for you it’s for me too.

I know without a doubt in my mind that I fall short but I MUST strive to do better to let them see Jesus in us!

4 Simple Ways to Let Them See Jesus in Me (YOU)

Humility and Meekness

I have always been taught this: “If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all.” You and I may not be aware, but those around us are watching what we say. Keep in the forefront of your mind…Jesus let them see you in me.

Sadly, those around us can hear the words that proceed out of our mouths, whether they be good or bad. More often than not unbelievers will judge us more harshly since we claim Jesus Christ as our personal Savior.

If we conform to this world those around us those we are trying to lead to Jesus will assume we’re no different than they are so why should they come over to King Jesus?

If You and I are mindful of the words we use, people will notice that and possibly ask us “HOW” we are different?

Words are powerful and they can be used to build up but they can also be used to tear others down.

Let’s stay reminded of the following…Are our words and actions a reflection of Christ?

What We Do for Entertainment

Heed the Conviction from the Holy Spirit

  • Where do you go?
  • What do you watch?
  • What kind of music do you listen to?
  • Would you go to the same places, watch the same things or listen to the same music if Jesus were sitting next to you or find yourself being embarrassed?

Lord Let them See You in me Bible Verse:

No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. Matthew 6:24

Our Interactions on Social Media

Other people read what you post on social media. Non-believers watch more closely than those who say they are Christians. Are your posts, comments, and photos edifying what you say you believe in?

Once something goes online, it can’t be taken back so You and I must be careful that we represent our Savior in the best way.

Lord Let them See You in me Bible Verse:

Whoever guards his mouth and tongue, keeps his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23

Be Mindful How We Treat Others

Are you modeling Christ to let others see Jesus in You?

  • Are we reaching out to help people in their time of need?
  • Are we encouraging or criticizing them?
  • Being patient and kind?
  • What about showing genuine Love?
  • Are we giving others the benefit of the doubt or do we believe something because someone else takes it as truth?

If we hear gossip about an individual, do we distance ourselves from it or stay and listen? What does the bible say about gossip? Treat others the same way you want them to treat you and lend a helping hand when they need it.

Lord Let Them See You in me Bible Verses

But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. James 3:8

Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. Ephesians 4:29

But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. James 3:8

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:1

But that is not the way you learned Christ, assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life, and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:20-2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

In Closing on 4 Simple Ways to Let Them See Jesus in Me and You

Can I challenge you to be the best witness you can be for Jesus Christ today? I will say it again that we may be the ONLY witness that some people will see so let’s show them a good representation.

When we Pray specifically let them see Jesus in and through us God will move in mighty ways.

In all honesty, if we live our lives in a manner that doesn’t reflect what we claim to be (born again children of God) those we’re trying to witness to will see no reason to give their to Jesus Christ.

They’ll just say that we do NOT live any different from what they do. I want to live my life as the best example I can be. In other words, I want to let them see Jesus in me.

I don’t do it right more often than not, I mess up, I make mistakes, but I will do my best to be a light for others to see in this dark world!
