Bible Verses About Hope for Grief

For everything, there is a season a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. Ecclesiastes 3:2

A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up. Ecclesiastes 3:3

A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3:4

He said, I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord! Job 1:21

To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory. Isaiah 61:3
