What Does The Bible Say About God’s Love?

Do you know God’s love for you was shown when He sent His Son to the Cross? Let’s take a look at what does the Bible say about God’s love for you in 25 verses. If you don’t know about God’s love for you then this is the post for you!

In all honesty, in today’s world, people throw around the word love casually to those around them…such as the following to our…

  • Husband
  • Children
  • Mother
  • Father
  • Friends

Now, I’m not saying that you don’t love your family, friends, and vice versa, etc…I want you to think about ultimate love, OK? The love I’m referring to is God’s love for you.

God is the only person who will never disappoint you. Do you realize there is nothing that will EVER separate you from God’s love for you?

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more than, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. Romans 5:8-9

How God’s Love Is An Ultimate Love For You

The ultimate love of God’s love for you was God coming down from Heaven in the form of man which is Jesus Christ. Jesus could have come off the cross! But you know what he chose NOT to.

Even though Jesus was mocked, ridiculed, and suffered tremendously! Jesus chose to stay on the cross to demonstrate His love for you!

For one will scarcely die for a righteous person, though perhaps for a good person, one would dare even to die. Romans 5:7

Beginning of Holy Week

As you meditate on the suffering that Jesus went through for you does it leave you in breathtaking awe? Does it leave you wondering how could Jesus EVER Love you that much to go through all he went through for you?

What is God’s definition of love?

Love Of God Can Mean:

Either love for God or love by God. Love for God (philotheia) is associated with the concepts of worship and devotion toward God…The Greek term agape is applied both to the love that human beings have for God and to the love that God has for man.

How does God show his love for You?

God’s atoning love through Christ is the source of all our spiritual blessings. God loves you with Calling love. Another way God shows His love for you is by calling you out of the darkness of sin and into the light of fellowship with Him. God’s calling love is a promise to always be with you.

What is God’s perfect love?

Perfect love is Jesus, God wrapped in human flesh. Perfect Love goes to any length to save and any height to reach. Perfect Love calls the prisoner His brother, redeems him, and sets him free. Perfect Love is complete, all-consuming, with no traces of doubt in the power of the Holy One.

I simply can NOT fathom God’s love for us and there’s no greater love than this. I can say with all honesty we do not deserve God’s love, mercy, and grace! We deserve His wrath!

I want you to realize something! Jesus did NOT have to do it for YOU. Jesus Christ took the wrath he did NOT deserve for ALL mankind, so he could love you!

The Savior of the world did NOTHING to deserve ANY of the pain he endured but willingly took God’s wrath on the Cross so YOU could be reconciled with God. That my Friends is ULTIMATE LOVE! God’s love for you is the ultimate love!

Can anything separate You from the love of God?

I Pray the following verses, give your spirit reassurance, the same way it does mine. To know without a doubt that nothing you and I ever do or don’t do for that matter will change God’s for us!

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers. Romans 8:38

Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39

Now, I am human and far from perfect. Being “PERFECT” apart from Jesus Christ is NOT possible! This is where His love comes in! I fail miserably and fall short every single day! You wanna know the amazing thing?

God Loves ME anyway! God Loves ME, in the middle of MY mess! Oh, how I do NOT deserve, the Love and Grace, he has shown to me! However, I am thankful for it nonetheless!

I used to believe, that I had to live “MY VERSION OF PERFECT,” for God to love me unconditionally!

What a lie that is Friends. The ONLY person who has EVER lived, a Perfect, Sin-Free life, is Jesus Christ himself.

Jesus is the ONLY one who EVER will. God’s love for you is a love you will never fully understand on this side of eternity!

Which is the greatest commandment?

When asked which is the greatest commandment, the Christian New Testament depicts Jesus paraphrasing the Torah: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,” before also paraphrasing a second passage; “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

What Is The Opposite Of God’s Love For You?

Satan’s Deception

Lies of the devil love to remind you, of EVERYTHING you have done wrong, in your past, and throw it in your face, as often as he can every single day!

Satan is a deceiver and a liar and will try his best to convince your mind and heart that God would or could NEVER Love you.

God would or could NEVER Love a low-down Sinner, like you. Well, I am gonna put Satan in his place right now, sweet friend!

Don’t take Angie’s word for it. Take God’s word as the Truth it is!! God’s grace is more than enough, don’t believe the lies!
