3 Powerful Ways for You to Remember Gods Got This

Is it possible to say Gods Got This in dire circumstances of life? Could you say this if you’ve received a devastating diagnosis? As I prepared my patient to see the doctor, I felt the hot prick of tears behind my eyes. This woman has been hospitalized several times, visits the office 2-3 times a week to receive fluids, and has gotten to the point where she struggles to catch her breath.

Learn three unique ways she says God’s Got This. But I held back my tears and put a smile on my face—all because of a button she’d handed me a few weeks before. God’s Got This.

Imagine if you received a devastating diagnosis. What would it take for you to say, “God’s got this!” with complete assurance?

Gods Got This: 3 Powerful Ways You Can Trust This

God is a good God, and He takes care of His children. Now, this doesn’t mean our lives will be perfect; they won’t be this side of eternity.

God’s word is clear. Perfection will only happen when we reach Heaven’s gates. What a day to look forward to, right?

Heaven has no sorrow, sadness, sickness, or suffering. Until then, we must trust God has a plan and purpose.

God's Got This
Can you spot the God’s Got This button? This Calendar is hanging in my lab bay, and it’s the first thing patients see when they sit down.

As I said at the beginning, I will never forget when she gave me the button in the picture above that says “Gods Got This.” Cancer patients need to know who is supporting them throughout their treatment journey.

She would say…

“Now, Angie, I want to see the button in your lab bay to remind those fighting and battling cancer that they are always in God’s care!” Anonymous Patient

Know God Has A Plan For Your Life, Some Not So Easy

If you aren’t careful, you will live your life full of discouragement and worry about anything thrown in your path.

Remember, GOD’S GOT THIS is putting your faith and trust in God. Now, even when situations seem unchanging on this side of Heaven, you aren’t promised any easy life on Earth.

God is King of ALL, and he’s over ALL. His ways are higher than ours, and His plans are more significant than ours. You don’t have to try to figure it out.

Even if you do not understand the “WHY” behind your circumstances, you serve an almighty God who has a plan to see you through whatever challenges come your way.

It’s putting your faith and trust into action when you let go and let God do what He can do in your life.

When you humble yourself in surrender and proclaim, “God, I know YOU GOT THIS! GOD IS IN CONTROL…your soul finds rest, and you have peace.

You Can Say “GOD’S GOT THIS” With Confidence “IF” Your Faith And Trust Are In God

I want to shine a spotlight on the SPECIAL PATIENT I’m referencing in the opening paragraph of this post. This lady has been struck, and it seems so unfair to see her suffering and watch her health decline to the point she struggles to catch her breath.

She’s been hospitalized numerous times and has come to the office to receive fluids 2-3 times a week. What amazes me is seeing her brighter-than-life smile and never wavering faith.

In all honesty, the last time I prepared her to see the doctor, it took every ounce of courage I could muster up to remain strong in her presence and NOT break down in tears.

I believe she felt this in her spirit because in her natural form, she took my hand and said “Angie, I’m OK, God’s Got This, and no matter what I’m good either way…I WIN!!” I replied, “I Know!”

How Can You Remember God Is In Control?

Although the suffering she endures is evident, she would tell you this: I trust God always, even with the pain and suffering I’m enduring. I trust God has a plan.

God is using ME and MY circumstances to bring Him glory even though I may not understand his plan and will on this side of eternity.

I broke down three practical steps she told others to respond if they find themselves in a similar position.

Gods Got You

1. Give God Thanks and Rejoice in ALL Circumstances

As humans, it’s hard to understand why people suffer so much from a limited perspective. Even crueler is when a Christian lives a life glorifying God. Be that as it may, we are not promised an easy life on Earth.

However, you are promised that God will be with you through it all, and God’s promises will last far beyond your suffering in the here and now.

With this in mind, it’s also essential to realize the pain you face on earth will never compare to the pain Jesus Christ suffered for you.

For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the unseen things. For the things that are seen are transient, but the unseen things are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17–18

2. Trust God in ALL Circumstances

While suffering, you may never know the lives of those who see the light of Christ in you. When someone looks at you amid your pain and suffering, they may question how and where your strength comes from.

This will open the door to sharing the gospel with someone who may not know Christ as Lord and Savior, accomplishing His eternal, ultimate purpose.

Though he slay me, I will hope in him. Job 13:15

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6

3. Take comfort in the Fact YOUR Eternal Home will be in Glory

When you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you aren’t afraid to take your final breath. Why? Because when you take your last breath on earth, your next breath will be in Heaven!

Think about it: coming face to face with the Creator of the Universe. Glory to God!! No more pain, plus you’ll receive a new glorified body!

Can you say HALLELUJAH!!

My Personal Favorite about my Health Issues

There is nothing, no circumstance, no trouble, no testing that will ever touch me until, first of all, it has gone past God and past Christ right through to me. If it has come, it has come with a great purpose, which I may not understand at the moment. But as I refuse to become panicky, as I lift up my eyes to Him and accept it as coming from the throne of God for some great purpose of blessing my own heart, no sorrow will ever disturb me, no circumstance will cause me to fret, for I shall rest in the joy of what my Lord is…the rest is victory!
