There’s no sugar-coating Homosexuality. I’ve never understood how anyone could choose a homosexual lifestyle. I personally have family members and also worked with people who have lived this lifestyle. Do I agree with a gay lifestyle? Absolutely not! However, it’s NOT my place to judge one’s homosexual choice. Judgment belongs to God alone, not me. What I can do is list scriptures from God’s word about Bible verses about homosexuality.

I’m far from perfect nor have I ever claimed to be. The only perfect individual who ever lived is Jesus Christ himself. He lived a sinless life, died a criminal’s death on the cross, and was resurrected three days later so you and I can be made righteous before God.

God placed the topic of homosexuality in my heart quite some time ago but I kept pushing it far from my mind making excuses to not write it. Anyone who knows me understands how much I hate controversy hence the reason this post hasn’t been written…yet. Obeying God always wins with me…Period!

I’m extremely picky about who I allow writing a guest post for me. Plus I’m the one who writes and formats their posts before they go live. Most of the time I don’t have to change much if anything.

Needless to say, a few days ago I received another request. I asked them to give me the name of their website so I can take a look and see if their writing/morals match mine.

Friends, I was floored by this Christian website. I’m not going to name the website because that would be gossiping and condemnation. As soon as I landed on their Homepage there was a post front and center about Homosexuality, Gays, and Lesbians, and they approved of it. What? Say it isn’t so? I wish!

Why Are People Gay?

I have absolutely no clue. It’s foreign to me I suppose because I lived a very sheltered life and at the time I hated it. Now, as an adult, I’m very thankful for it

Now, I don’t know what Bible they’re reading but I will list numerous bible verses about homosexuality for reference.

The website on the surface looked great and had outstanding posts but I had to decline due to the ONE article on homosexuality. It goes against my morals, principles, and convictions.

Most importantly it does NOT align with God’s word at all…EXCEPT to love your neighbor as yourself. I LOVE everyone!! It does NOT matter your race, origin, nationality, color of your skin…etc

We ALL bleed red. The thing is you LOVE the PERSON but HATE the SIN. Just as our Heavenly Father does. No sin is less than or greater than another. In God’s eye, it’s all the same.

Abortion is another hot topic. Just because you had an abortion doesn’t mean I think less of you. I love you and would see you as God does. It’s between you and God to repent, pray, and seek forgiveness. All you can do is pray for them but still show them love.

The Bible prohibits homosexual behavior and is against God’s natural law with severe consequences. You can be forgiven of any sin, including homosexuality.

If you want to be forgiven of any sin, you must first admit you have sinned, pray to God and ask for forgiveness, and turn away from the sin and do it no more. If you find yourself struggling find a mentor or life group member.

My Honest Answers On Gays and Lesbians | Homosexuality

I already know I’m gonna catch a lot of brutal attacks on this post as well as possibly being shunned and that is more than OK with me. Some people may even say Christians pick and choose what scriptures in the Bible they want to.

I’d rather obey God now being a good steward while I still have breath in my lungs, than wait until I’m standing before Jesus Christ on judgment day having to give account for not obeying His will.

Is being gay a choice?

Yes. There’s no such thing as being “born gay” it’s a 100% choice you chose to make. I don’t believe it has anything to do with genetics, hormones, or the environment at all.

Can gay people go to heaven?

No. A Gay/Homosexual/Transgender/ etc…can NOT go to Heaven being Gay. Again, you must repent, seek forgiveness, and turn away from your sin.

Can someone be both gay and A Christian?

No, absolutely not! God hates sin and can not look upon it. If you say “I’m both Gay and a Christian there’s no way you can have a relationship with God until you repent, seek forgiveness, and turn away from it.

Is homosexuality a sin according to all Christians?

If you claim to be a born-again follower of Jesus Christ homosexuality should be a sin to ALL Christians. The sad truth of the matter is it’s becoming more and more accepted and this isn’t biblical.

How should Christians respond to people who identify as gays And Lesbians?

Born-again followers of Jesus Christ should respond with genuine love as Jesus showed love to everyone and His followers should do the same. Again, it’s not my place to judge or condemn those who chose these lifestyles.

Unless you repent, ask for forgiveness, and turn away from it, you’ll be standing before God and receiving His righteous judgment. You may not like it either.
